Many years ago, this mine was the heart and soul of the town. But one day, a strange matter began invading. Slowly at first, this seemingly living mud began to consume everything. A pickaxe here, a piece of wood there.
But soon enough, the mud became hungrier and hungrier. And it started devouring miners left and right to sate its appetite.
The mine was eventually abandoned and the town economically collapsed. Yet there are some who wish to see it restored to its former glory. As such, they hire a group of wanderers who are armed to the teeth.
Can they drive back the living mud, and help the villagers recover their former home?
