It was a normal night for the clerics of the Great Cathedral, rites were prepared for the day ahead, the floors were dusted, and they got into comfortable clothes to catch some shuteye.
Then the corpses buried in the catacombs began to come up the stairs. However, the undead weren’t looking for trouble. No, they came up to ask for help.

The undead explained they had been waking up constantly for a few hours for the last six months. Every night, at midnight, they just kind of got up without any kind of explanation or purpose.
Now tired of not being able to rest for eternity, they reluctantly came up looking for help in the hopes that someone might let them enjoy the afterlife.
But there are some among them that don’t want to get back to resting, and are planning something drastic, maybe trying to stay awake forever.
The party of adventurers, now carrying with them a favorable reputation, was hired to help the clergy investigate.
